There are many options for formal wear depending on whether you are a man or a woman. If we were to however focus on this type of wear for the man we would see a ton of men’s suits that come in many different styles and cuts. There are the typical single breasted suits as well as the double breasted versions. In addition to this you will come across the terms dinner jackets, tuxedoes as well as black tie and white tie suits.

The difference in all of these suits and their suitability to formal occasions will vary. The type of material that they are made from will contribute as well as the styles that we mentioned before. The most formal wear of the men’s suit for the civilian man is in fact the whit tie suit. This suit is similar to what we know as the tuxedo but has more formally laid out components. There are several factors such as the type of shirt and pants, the material of these items as well as the tie. These guidelines are well known among the elite and used in extremely formal occasions.

The other suit types can be worn for most formal occasions. The one that is seen most is perhaps the black tie tuxedo. Though not as formal as the white tie version this type of formal wear is the one that is most used on occasions such as weddings and proms. This once well fitting can make the wearer more appealing and overall confident. The best suit is one that fits well and once the suit fits well the wearer will be endowed with all the confidence that they look good on that special occasion.

The best formal wear will be comfortable but will conform to all the specifications outlined for the occasion. There are many men that try to avoid these occasions but perhaps they have never had a well fitting suit.
