Men suit
Friday, January 25th, 2008The perfect men suit is not as far away as you would like to think. There is the fact that if a suit is not properly adjusted to fit an individual then that suit will not look good. The perfect suit is a few minor adjustments away in many cases. The suit that you have bought can often be made to suit you better with a few touches from a tailor or seamstress. They are able to make the suit fit you better and it will appear as if you purchased a brand new suit that was tailor made to suit you.
One of the adjustments that are often overlooked is the adjustment of the hem. When we buy a men suit and the hem is too long we often say to ourselves that this will not make a difference to the fit of the garment. This is not true and the fit of the suit is often one that will be determined by the small factors that we tend to overlook. There are several items to ensure that we personalize the fit of the suit that we own.
Another often overlooked factor in men suit is the length of the sleeves. This will not look right unless the sleeve length is right on pact. This means that the sleeves should not completely cover your shirt cuffs. They should reveal at least a half inch to an inch of the cuff. The base of the thumb is also another guide that is used when tailoring suit sleeves and is a good rule to adhere too as well.
The waist of the jacket is another issue with men suit. It should fit across the stomach area easily. The typical designs tend to have two suit buttons and there are some variations that are more fitted with more buttons. Regardless of the style make sure that the jacket fit the waistline and enhances the shape of the body well. All these tips make a suit yours and enhance the look.
